Repeat Prescriptions

If you are taking regular medications your doctor will give you a repeat prescription form attached to your original prescription.  The receptionist will explain how to use this if your not sure. 

Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription directly through this site. Click on the link above and complete the simple registration form.

Please give 48 hours notice when requesting repeat prescriptions.

Where To Collect Your Medicines

Due to the rural nature of the practice we are able to dispense medicines for many patients at our surgeries.  The doctor or receptionist will tell you if you may collect your medicines at the surgery, or the chemist.  There are chemists’ shops in St Columb Major and Padstow.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
